Heather Robinson has recently joined Sun Chemicals, a member of the D.I.C group, as the Analytical Laboratory Manager, specialising in the analysis of inks, coatings and printed substrates from solvent based, water based and energy cure technologies in order to determine migration levels in food simulants and problem solve manufacturing defects.
 
Heather has previously gained 12 years of laboratory-based experience in an ISO 17025 accredited environment with a focus on air analysis including stack emissions and occupational hygiene analysis.

In her previous positions as the Technical Manager for the Air and Biological Monitoring Divisions and later as a Group Method Development Chemist for Concept Life Sciences, Heather has gained extensive experience in carrying out method development and validation/verification work using a variety of chromatographic, spectroscopic and wet chemistry techniques.

Heather graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2013 with an honours degree in chemistry undertaken part-time and later went on to gain a masters degree in Forensic and Analytical Science in 2016.
