Stephen Holman is a post-doctoral research associate in the Michael Barber Centre for Mass Spectrometry at the University of Manchester.  His research is in the area of quantitative proteomics, focussing on the absolute quantification of the proteome of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).  He was awarded his Ph.D in 2009 from the University of Southampton, and prior to this worked for HFL Ltd. (now Quotient Bioresearch Ltd.) and the Forensic Science Service.  Stephen was elected to the committee in 2010.
