Steve Black is a Senior Technical Operations Adviser in the Analytical Services Department at Sellafield in Cumbria overseeing the introduction of new techniques for future analysis requirements for site clean-up operations. The transition to decommissioning of nuclear sites presents a unique set of challenges and novel analytical techniques will be required for the vast range of materials under scrutiny. Steve joined the committee in 2008 as an ordinary member.
